Love this quote ~ the idea of ‘surrender’ seems to be a concept that implies defeat and passivity but in the context of yoga, we learn surrender in deep, dreamless sleep and deep relaxation…but, how many of us actually experience a sound slumber on a daily basis!? The best way to have a calm sleep is to be calm before bed, so taking a few moments to unwind your mind is a good idea.
